Season 5 ofCOD Mobileis right around the corner, with new weapons, maps, battle pass, and more set to arrive in the big update.
The new season ofCOD Mobilewill be titled ‘In Deep Water’, and as such, is themed around the ocean depths. The update is looking to be one ofCOD Mobile’sbiggest yet, with 3 new maps arriving with the launch of the new season.
COD Mobile- Season 5 ‘In Deep Water’
COD Mobile’s newest season, ‘In Deep Water’, will bring with it 3 new maps. Some players will recognise some of them from 2019’sModern Warfare:
As well as brand new maps, players will be able to unlock the Gung-Ho perk by completing in-game challenges. The official description of the Gung-Ho perk forCOD Mobilereads, “Keep moving and fighting! With Gung-Ho, reload and throw grenades without stopping”.
Fans can also expect new weapons to arrive with Season 5, including the popular AMAX Assault Rifle fromModern Warfare. Check out the full patch notes to find out more.
Release Date & Start Time
UPDATE:It appears that the new update has currently been put on pause for some players. It will continue rolling out on Tuesday, June 29th. More information can be found in the tweet below.
Season 5 will kick off on Monday, June 28th at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. For UK players, the new season will commence on June 29th at 1AM BST.
Players will need to update their game when the patch goes live before they can jump into the new season ofCOD Mobile.
