What Happened Previously On Chainsaw Man?
The chapter began with hundreds of people protesting against Chainsaw Devil and demanding to take him down. Yoshida and Denji are sitting nearby and watching everything. Seeing people protesting saddened Denji, and he asked why this was all happening. Yoshida replied that people didn’t love him. Suddenly, the Chainsaw Man support group arrived, and we saw a clash between the two groups. Denji replied it was good to see that some people loved him and fought for him.
Yoshida revealed that the Chainsaw Man Church had more than 20,000 supporters, and these protests would have taken a larger form; however, the conflict was stopped. Worried about the dogs and Nayuta, Denji asked about them, and Yoshida replied that he would have to stop doing his Chainsaw Man job to save them. This surprised Denji and he refused to do so. Yoshida replied that he would lose Nayuta if he didn’t comply with his orders.
Yoshida tried to talk things out with Denji and explained to him that this was the perfect way for him to lead a normal life again, and Nayuta and the dogs would be by his side too. Unable to comply with the demands, Denji looked irritated. Yoshida warned him that if he continued turning into Chainsaw Man, then Public Safety would kill Nayuta. However, Denji declared that he would take both options, starting a heated argument between the two.
Suddenly, Nayuta appeared on the scene with the dogs and Yoshida told his man that it was too soon to let them meet. Yoshida warned him again about the consequences of not listening to him; however, Denji ignored him and walked home with Nayuta and the dogs.
