Call of Dutyfans are dissatisfied with the latest titles offering once again. Once again, fans are expressing disappointment over an aspect of the title. When the game was released initially, it was the campaign; then it was the multiplayer, and now it is Zombies.

Call of Duty Zombies has no content announced for it, on the other hand Warzone and Multiplayer are getting tonnes of new content.

Admittedly, the return of Zombies is why many COD fans even considered buying the new game. The mode is considered a lot of fun by players, but the problem is that the company is not even trying to provide new content to the game mode. AsCall of Dutyfans would know, Season 1 Reloaded is going live on January 17, and it was announced using a blog post on the game’s official website. A lot was offered for Multiplayer andWarzonein new content, but there was almost nothing for Zombies.

Call of Duty Zombies only gets a new warlord for Season 1 Reloaded

The title may be a little surprising to read becauseCall of Duty, in modern times, is synonymous with a live service offering. New content should ideally come and does come now and then in the form of Season updates for the title.

Underwhelming, but that is just going to happen sometimes with the way they release content forCall of Duty. Season 2 is less than a month away, so they probably save a lot of content for that. If not, a lot of people are going to lose interest. This was the case when the announcement for Season 1 Reloaded was made. Every mode seems to be getting new content with the Reload. However, Zombies looked like the one kid on Christmas who gets coal as a present after waiting all year.

A new warlord is all Call of Duty Zombies fans are getting for Season 1 Reloaded.

The only addition made to the game mode was in the form of a Warlord who was described as the following:

A new Warlord enters the Exclusion Zone in the form of South Korean–born Dokkaebi. Defeat her if you can to earn high-tier loot.

That is it. End of story. Fans were disappointed with the announcements, and some were even wondering why the developer was playing favoritism between game modes of the same title. This is how fans reacted to the announcement made on Twitter by a UK-based gaming creator,Jon:

Remake every zombie map and put them in one place ….then sell those maps?? It really isn’t that complicated of an idea.

While some fans expressed hope about the game’s releasing new content during Season 2, which is to be expected after the letdown that was the announcement for Zombies in Season 1 reloaded, that next season is expected to begin on February 7 with no official date of announcement revealed yet. Only time will tell how close or further away is the update that finally gives fans something new in the new Zombies mode.

It is worth noting that the other game modes are being showered with new content, whether it is two new guns, a new 6V6 map, new game modes, a ranked playlist, aThe Boys-themed Limited Time Game mode, and much more.

Considering the general sentiment, the game seems to be underutilizing the situation and popularity of the all-new zombie mode. It is doubtful that people will stop playing the multiplayer mode for the title but the Zombies mode will turn into a ghost town if things do not improve soon.
