Perks are the unsung heroes of anyCall of Duty: Warzoneloadout. While they don’t directly impact every gunfight you get into, they play a crucial role in your gameplay style.
Some perks promote one playstyle while others promote another, and it’s up to you to pick the perks that are tailored to how you want to play.

Of course, several perks are considered more useful than others. These perks might come into play more often than their counterparts and should be prioritized on most loadouts.
Unless you’re looking to play Warzone a specific way, then using the agreed-upon “best” perks is usually the right way to go.

Below, you’ll find a list of our picks for the ten best overall perks inBlack Ops 6Warzone, so you always know what to pick for your loadout.
10Tempered
Armor is Always Important
Description
Refill armor plates to full with two plates instead of three. Equipping this perk fully restores armor
How to Unlock
Reach Level 35
Coming in at the 10th spot on the list is Tempered. It’s in the yellow slot next to some fairly competitive perks, so you might not want to run Tempered all the time. However, it’s a perk that will always be useful regardless of the situation you’re in during a Warzone match.
Tempered refills your armor plates to their maximum capacity using two plates instead of three. This significantly cuts down on the plates you use to refill your armor after you’ve been shot.

While only saving one or two armor plates might not seem like a huge deal, it could make the difference between life and death in the final circle.
Never Slow Down
Can Tactical Sprint indefinitely
Reach Level 32
Sprinter is one of those perks in Warzone that you either can’t live with or can’t live without. The red slot perk makes it so you can tactical sprint indefinitely, which would’ve been quite the boon in the earlier iterations of Warzone.
However, in the Black Ops 6 version, tactical sprint isn’t quite as needed as it once was. Paired with the new omnimovement system, the tactical sprint mechanic can feel clunky and unneeded at times.

If you’re someone who enjoys the feeling oftactical sprintand you have an aggressive play style, though, then Sprinter is a solid pick for the red perk slot in Warzone.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6: 10 Best Weapons In Multiplayer
Get an edge on the competition by using the best weapons available.
8Quartermaster
Who Needs to Scavenge?
Tacticals and Lethals can be recharged over a period of 50 seconds
Unlocked by default

Next up is another red perk, this time Quartermaster. This is one of the crossover perks with Black Ops 6 multiplayer and it acts the same way in Warzone. The perk allows you to recharge your equipment over the course of 50 seconds. This goes for both lethal and tactical pieces of equipment.
So, if you know you like to use equipment frequently, Quartermaster could certainly be one of the better options for you. The only issue with Quartermaster is you can usually find new pieces of equipment from looting, either through crates or dead players.
Still, if you enjoy sitting back and playing from a distance, it’s never a bad idea to ensure you always have a grenade orStim Shotin your back pocket.
7Dexterity
Just a Little More Agile
Reduces weapon motion while jumping, sliding, and diving
Reach Level 20
Dexterity has been a popular blue slot perk since the launch of Warzone in Black Ops 6. It’s anothercrossover perk with multiplayerand behaves the same way in battle royale modes. While the description of Dexterity sounds enticing, players have discovered it doesn’t do as much for you as it seems.
The description for Dexterity states the perk makes you have reduced weapon motion while jumping, diving, and sliding. You also take less fall damage. The reduced weapon motion only plays a noticeable part if you’re diving, as the community found out.
The fall damage reduction is nice as well, but might not be useful for every player. Still, if you enjoy the diving mechanics in Warzone, Dexterity can still be a great perk to run.
Don’t Let Enemies Get Away
See enemy footsteps. Bullets you fire briefly mark an enemy for you and your squad. Enemies that down you are automatically pinged
Reach Level 29
Tracker is a classic Warzone perk that’s always behaved the same way year after year. The red slot perk allows you to see enemy footsteps for a short period and you mark enemies for your team when shooting an enemy. Downed enemies are also automatically marked for your team.
Regardless of your playstyle, there’s a use for Tracker in every gunfight. Marking enemies is incredibly valuable during an engagement, as you can see where they go, and aggressive players can make great use of seeing footsteps. For most general loadouts, Tracker is arguably the best red slot perk.
5Quick Fix
Incentivize Your Kills
Killing players or inserting armor plates immediately starts health regeneration. Can insert armor plates one-handed
Reach Level 50
That leads us to the next perk, Quick Fix. This is another red slot perk that many players have run on their loadouts since day one in Warzone.
It’s more tailored toward aggressive players, as the perk regenerates your health when you kill an enemy or insert an armor plate. Quick Fix also allows you to insert armor plates with one hand, leaving the other open to perform another action.
Players who get into a fair share of gunfights throughout a match should prioritize Quick Fix over other red slot perks. While Tracker is another good way to go, Quick Fix can save your life multiple times throughout a match.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6: Best Scorestreaks Ranked
There are over a dozen scorestreaks in Black Ops 6, but not all of them are created equal.
Stay Active on the Go
Reduced movement penalties when reloading or using equipment. Reload while Tac Sprinting
Now we’re getting into the true upper echelon of perks in Warzone. This starts with Gung-Ho, a perk that’s difficult to live without once you get used to it. Gung-Ho reduces your movement penalties when reloading or using a piece of equipment as well as allows you to reload when tactical sprinting.
The latter part of that description is what most players use Gung-Ho for, as reloading while sprinting is a life-saver in dire situations. For example, if you need to sprint to get away but you’re gun is out of ammo, Gung-Ho allows you to get back into the fight faster.
Naturally, this perk is meant for more mobile players but it’s a solid general perk for any playstyle.
Grow Your Advantage
UAVs you call in are 25% larger and show the heading of the enemy for your squad. Detects players with Ghost
Reach Level 23
Birdseye is one of the most impactful perks you can run in Warzone. It has quite a long description, but here are the highlights:
With a description like that, you may see why Birsdseye is so popular in Warzone. Of course, you’ll need to call inplenty of UAVsto make the perk worth your while. It might be beneficial to run another yellow slot perk if you don’t plan to call in too many UAVs fromBuy Stations. Any player that likes to use UAVs, though, Birdseye is a must-have perk.
2Alertness
Always Be Alert
Sense when enemies are nearby. Tell when you are being aimed at by an enemy
Reach Level 44
We have another yellow slot perk at the number two spot. Alertness is essentially High Alert from previous Warzone iterations, as it has a nearly identical description.
The perk pulses your screen when you are being aimed at by an enemy. The pulse also lets you know what direction the enemy is aiming at you from, which is quite helpful when you’re trying to avoid their gunshots.
Alertness can save your life at every turn in Warzone, as you don’t even need to see enemies to dodge them. A quick, well-placedsniper shotis about the only thing that Alertness doesn’t protect against.

Weapon leveling can be slow in Black Ops 6, so allow us to show you the best ways to speed the process up.
Bravo Six, Going Dark
Undetectable by enemy radar pings while moving. Can not be detected by some devices
Reach Level 17
And finally, we arrive at our pick for the top perk in Warzone: Ghost. Ghost has been a mainstay atop any perk list for years, as your match can completely come tumbling down without it. It’s another yellow slot perk, so you’ll have to decide between it, Alertness, and Birdseye.
Ghost makes you undetectable by enemy radar pings, but only when you’re moving. In other words, you’re able to’t be seen on UAVs, Portable Radars, Heartbeat Sensors, andProx Alarms. The only counter to Ghost is Birdseye, which makes you appear on the radar when a UAV is called in.
With how many UAVs get spammed in every Warzone match, not having Ghost equipped is always a gamble. There’s no other perk that can save your life and help you get kills as much as Ghost.
