Fan Theory States How Aizen’s Zanpakuto Restricts Him From Showcasing His Cataclysmic Bankai
Tite Kubo’sBleachis probably one of those Shonen manga and anime series that features some of thestrongestand most complex antagonists out there.Sosuke Aizen was one such character in the series, as his strength did not lie, andtomake things more serious, he was cunning andutterly manipulative.

They explained that the character’s Bankai’s real power might be reality warping with a catch. As fans know, Shinigami and his blade must have a connection between them to unlock their true potential, but the character’s twisted views could notbe supportedby anyone.
Hence, he often wanted to change his blade with the Hogyoku because it has the“power to manifest the desires of those around it, desires Aizen had wanted people to understand for ages but simply couldn’t.”

The fan believes that if the character used hisbankaiwithout the Hogyoku, it would kill him. In other words, the antagonist’s bankai is the beauty of the poems, and he can’t control it and must watch how it turns out. The fan said his true power“would be “control of everything” (including himself) , an upgrade from “control of senses”, sort of how Sakanade went from “inversion of sight” to straight up “inversion”.”
They also added,

“The second example would be, during his 2nd fight with Ichigo, he tells him something about distance not being relevant and all of the sudden, he is inches away from Ichigo, his fingers on his just and heaheartbeat away he was well far from him.”
