After months of waiting, Game Science has finally given a release date for the Xbox version of Black Myth Wukong in a few months.

Game Science announcedtoday that theBlack Myth Wukong Xbox versionwill be available on June 05, 2025. And yes, this is for both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Pre-orders will begin on June 18 at select regional Microsoft Stores. Note that both the release and pre-order dates are set in Beijing Time, and given the timezone conversion, this translates to the game’s release date in the US as August 19 at 12 pm EDT/9 am PDT.
Additionally, the game will also receive its first-ever discount on digital storefronts! This also includes the Xbox version, which will get a pre-order discount. The game will feature a 20% discount from June 18 to July 3 on the PlayStation Store, from June 18 to July 11 on the Microsoft Store, and from June 20 to July 11 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
Xbox fans should mark the June 18 date, as this will give them a 20% discount for pre-ordering the game, which is a significant price reduction.
Game Science Dev Says 30% of Black Myth Wukong Sales Aren’t From China
Current estimates peg Black Myth Wukong sales are at 25 million units sold.
