A rumor has fans speculating aboutThe White LotusSeason 4’s location
While it is not exactly uncommon for false alarms to spread for a show of this proportion, this rumor seems to have some legitimate substance behind it. According to userQuintessnce93on the r/TheWhiteLotusHBO forum,The White LotusSeason 4 might be based in Norway.
They cited a report from a big Norwegian newspaper, calledBergens Tidende, as the source for believing such. As per the report, the production team of the HBO show applied to the Norwegian Film Institute to provide them with a financial grant to film a season of an undisclosed show in the country.

While most of the contents of the application remain unknown, what could be inferred from the newspaper report was that they had asked for the permit to film the entire season in one place. The show is also functioning under the code nameSecret Garden, and the entire production value is expected to round up at about $70 million.
