The gaming community has grown to appreciate other aspects of the video game world. Not just the visuals, scenery, gameplay, and other appealing things, but one character caught the attention of the fans, and they didn’t mind seeing her progression and descent to madness.

The Gaming Community Wants to See Raven Be the Star in a Stellar Blade Expansion

Shift Upcame from humble beginnings, having only worked on mobile games before partnering with Sony and PlayStation to make a massive triple-A quality video game that is now loved by the entire gaming community.

Director ofStellar Blade, Hyung-Tae Kim, was reportedly overwhelmed with the positive feedback and was immediately pestered with the same question that usually comes after a successful project, the director was coy anddid not rule out the possibility of aStellar Bladesequel but hinted at more content on the horizon.

“I say thank you”: Stellar Blade Fans Have Forgotten Eve, Tachy, and Co, and Entirely Moved Onto Another Character

While the developers sent more post-launch support through updates and patches likenew cosmetic items and customization features, the fans suggested what the expansion should feature.

The gaming community would love to see how Raven ended up where she is in the main story through a brief DLC, perhaps similar in length and style to what Naughty Dog did withLeft BehindforThe Last of Us. The short yet emotional chapter added another layer of depth to the campaign and made the players feel a certain emotion.

The Stellar Blade franchise is not all about Eve.

Director Hyung-Tae Kim achieved an unexpected accolade whenthe game received the highest Metacritic user scoreon the PlayStation 5 console. Despite being fairly new and going up against much more popular and well-established games, the gaming community was enamored with what Shift Up had to offer.

Shift Up Should Consider Doing a Stellar Blade DLC Featuring Other Characters

Shift Up prioritized the combat and gameplay over the narrativewhich was an unusual method for a game developer. Regardless, it all paid off in the end and Kim knew how to appeal to the gaming community and was heavily inspired by the intense combat of the Soulslike genre.

2 Features Need to be ShiftUp’s Next Priority for Stellar Blade – Modern Games Shouldn’t Miss Out on These

This expansion could have compensated for the story that was not given the same amount of attention and made it better. DLCs could benefit from the lore expand upon it and open more doors of opportunities to explore in the future.

It would be interesting to see how the game developers handle mature themes like mental illness and apply that to the character growth of Raven. Perhaps Shift Up should heavily consider putting the spotlight on other characters and see where it goes from there.

The in-game shopkeeper received her 10 minutes of fame, but the gaming community is not ready to move on. Kim jokingly stated thatthe shopkeeper could be the lead of the following projectand the appeal is there for the taking.
