TheBatmancrossover short in question shows two trainers who come across Zubatman in the wild, who begins to tell his ‘tragic backstory’ within aGame Boy aesthetic.

Using the classic, husky Batman voice - made famous by the Christopher Nolan live-action trilogy - Zubatman reveals that after his parents death he fell into a Zubat cave and took on the ‘Zubat’ mantle.

The comedy lies in the trainers’ attempt to make Zubatman’s tragedy sound less devastating, by marveling over the fact that he had two parents instead of one.

A flurry of Zubats make an appearance, and they always attack him and no other. Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler Alfred also makes a cameo, after Zubatman calls for his ‘Zubatmobile’.

The video has gained over 3.5 million views, with commenters asking if he will evolve into Golbatman and fall in love with Meowthwoman. Fans have also petitioned for a Zubatman return, which could potentially be an ongoing series for the channel.
