Baldur’s Gate 3is finally coming out for players to enjoy. The game, which will release first on PC and then a month later on PlayStation 5. You may be wondering what different editions of the game are available and what they offer.

The differences aren’t major between the PC and PlayStation versions, but they are worth noting. Here is a guide to all the different editions and what they give you.
Base Edition
The PC edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 is available to purchase viaSteamandGOGfor $59.99 USD. This base version can be purchased at either retailer. However, GOG does offer a DRM-free version. It is unknown at this time if there will be any other DRM-free version available from any other retailers.This base version gives players access to the game starting August 3rd on the PC. If you are purchasing it for the PlayStation 5, you may buy it from thePlayStation Storefor $69.99 USD. This version is expected to be released on September 6th.
Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition offers additional items from the base game.Anyone who preorders the PC version of the game will automatically have the Deluxe Edition when the PlayStation 5 version comes out. Otherwise, you will need to pay $10 to upgrade. For PlayStation users, this edition will cost $79.99 via thePlayStation Store. Those who purchase this version on the PlayStation will be able to begin playing on September 3rd, three days early. Here are all the extras this edition comes with.

Collector’s Edition
The Collector’s Edition is much more expensive than the other two editions.It costs $269.99 for both the PC and the PlayStation 5 versions and can be preordered onLarian Studios' website.Unfortunately, as of now, this edition is sold out. However, you can add your name to the email list to be notified if it goes back in stock.This edition offers everything the previous versions offer plus more. Here is a list of the additional items.
In addition to all of that, the Collector’s Edition will come with a certificate of authenticity and a digital copy of the game. The items are included in a Mind-Flayer-inspired collector’s box.
