One enemy you will make is Lord Enver Gortash, the new leader of Baldur’s Gate. He is the Champion of Bane and is a formidable foe. Here’s how you can take him down and put an end to his reign of terror once and for all.

Preparing For The Battle
Before you do anything, you will want to prepare for the battle.This means that you’re going to needpotions,revivify,powerful armor, and agood party.You need to ensure that everyone is prepared to take on the boss because once you get there, you’ll have to reload if you want to turn back. Also, make sure you save before entering the battle.
You will want to bringKarlachwith you since this is part of her personal quest.
The Battle
Surprisingly, Gortash’s fight is very straightforward, more so than any other boss in the game.However, this doesn’t mean that it is easy. If you know what you’re getting yourself into, you should be able to strategize and get through it easily. Once you reach the Audience Hall, the fight will begin.
Using Platforms
If you look around the Audience Hall, you will find plenty of platforms you can use in battle.You will want to make use of these as they will ensure that you are out of range of enemies and can have an advantage against them.
Taking Care Of Enemies
Considering Gortash is the Grand Duke, he will have a ton of guards surrounding him.In order to finish these enemies off quickly, you may use AoE spells or throw their grenades back at them. Another way to tackle this is by going into one of the rooms off the Audience Hall and chokeholding the enemies. This will make it easier to ensure that you don’t get surrounded and overrun.
Destroying Gortash’s Shield
Throughout the fight, Gortash uses machines on the walls and ceilings to give him a shield to his health.You will want to use Lightning Damage to make quick work of these and continue attacking him to take down his health.
Finishing Gortash
Once you get his health down low enough, Bane will empower him, and he will begin to summon Manifestations of Tyranny. While this will increase his damage, they are easy to kill. A simple AoE spell will do the trick.Additionally, he will summon the Hand of Shadow, which you will need to make sure you are under. If you continue attacking, you can easily finish him off for good.
