Soon after the final episode ofAttack on Titan The Final Season Part 2, several voice actors including Eren’s Yuki Kaji and Mikasa’s Yui Ishikawa shared their thoughts on Twitter, special video messages from the cast were also published for thePart 3reveal.
TheAttack on Titananime will go on for another year as the very last chapters of the manga by Hajime Isayama will get adapted in yet another part, this time in 2023. After the final episode ofThe Final Season Part 2, several voice actors shared their reactions on Twitter. We translated their messages below.
Yuki Kaji, voice actor of Eren, reacts to Attack on Titan 87 (The Final Season Part 2 ending)
Yuki Kaji:“The only thing I can do is pursue Eren’s feelings. Dedicating myself to the role no matter what. Just like Eren’s own life. That’s the job I was entrusted with. Attack on Titan all gave us opportunities for reflecting on ourselves and changing ourselves. And I will stick with Eren to the very end”.

The iconic seiyuu trio ofAttack on Titanexplained that while they’re happyFinal Season Part 3was announced, they’re a bit sad that the anime is ending for real, so they have mixed feelings about it. Yuki Kaji mentioned he already read the manga, but Yui Ishikawa and Marina Inoue didn’t, and they discover the story as they record the new episodes. The two of them will only learn of the ending once they dub it, and will keep waiting. Yuki Kaji ended the message by saying they know they’re making us wait for a little bit more, but they hope we’ll be there to support them for the final part. Watch the video message below.
Yui Ishikawa alsotweeted"Maybe things would have been different if they chose different answers at that time…", referring to the scene with Eren and Mikasa alone together. She added, “If only episode 87 was the final one, with everyone just laughing and drinking happily…”.

After introducing themselves, Hiro Shimono asked fans about their feelings after episode 87. Yoshimasa Hosoya said it was particularly interesting, and repeated the announcement for Part 3. He bit his tongue doing so, making the other two laugh. Ayane Sakura said that you should take the time until 2023 to rewatch the past seasons and read the original manga. All three ended the message by saying they hope we’ll meet again for the ending.
