The Dr. Holder lead inAtomfallsends players deep into the Medical section of the Interchange, where the objective is to find Sample One, the first sample of the Oberon organism.
Finding Sample One and completing Dr. Holder’s quest unlocks one of the many endings to the game.It’s not a very difficult lead, only having a couple of objectives in total.

Finding Dr. Holder
To find Dr. Holder inAtomfall, players must first get theChurch Cellar Key from the Medical sectionof the Interchange. The fastest way to reach Medical is by powering upData Store C, which can be found through theSlatten Dale Interchange door.
Once you enter the Interchange through Slatten Dale, follow the white signs that will point you in the direction of Medical.
Once you reach Medical, take the first right and then immediately take another right tofind a little nook with a light on. On the ground, you’ll find the Church Cellar Key and a recording log. This key can be used to open up the door in the basement ofSt. Katherine’s Church.

This guide explains how to complete The Windfall Shipment Lead in Atomfall.
Head to St. Katherine’s Church in Wyndham Village and open the door in the basement to find Dr. Holder. Speak to him to officially start the Dr. Holder questline.
Make sure to grab the injection sample needle from his desk to increase your immunity to the Infection.
Sample One Location
The first task from Dr. Holder is to find Sample One deep in the Medical facility. Luckily, Dr. Holder gave you his keycard, allowing us to explore a whole new area that was previously inaccessible.
Make your way back to Medical, where you found the Church Cellar Key, and progress to the back area to find a door that requires the keycard.Use Dr. Holder’s Keycardto open the door leading to the lower level.
Finding Sample One in Medical
When you first enter the lower level of Medical, you’ll encounter a hallway filled with poisonous gas. To get rid of the poison,press the decontamination button nearby.
Next, continue through the hallway and enter the next room, to be met by a couple of Thralls. You can easily sneak up on them and use a Stealth Takedown since they have their backs turned.
Once the Thralls are taken care of,go to the center room and press the Systems Power buttonto get power going in the area. Next,flip the Lockdown Controls lever, which can be found down a small set of stairs, adjacent to the Systems Power button.
Atomfall: All Comic Book Locations
There’s always time for some light reading, even in the midst of a nuclear disaster.
Doing so will open the door to theAuditoriumnearby, so make your way through those doors and continue straight. You’ll eventually encounter a cloud of infectious smoke and a Thrall standing next to a stretcher.
Use throwables to defeat the Thrall and thengrab the Sample One cannister from the stretcher. Make sure to do this quickly, ordrink Strange Tonic, to prevent taking a ton of damage from the Infection clouds.
Finally, go to the back room (past the stretcher) to find the Medical exit and return to the Interchange.Return to Dr. Holder and hand over the Sample One substance.
Should You Tell Dr. Holder Where Dr. Garrow Is?
Dr. Holder will be pleased with you for finding Sample One, but there’s one more thing he wants from you. He wants information onDr. Garrows' whereabouts.
Before you tell Dr. Holder where Dr. Garrow is, there’s something very important you need to know.If you tell Dr. Holder, he will end up killing Dr. Garrow.
So, does this matter? Well, it depends on your playthrough. If you plan on escaping with Dr. Garrow and receiving the ending that involves her, then I wouldn’t tell Dr. Holder where she is.
On the other hand, if you aren’t a fan of Dr. Garrow, and would prefer to escape the quarantine with someone else, then feel free to tell him where she is.
If you do tell Dr. Holder where Dr. Garrow is, he’ll appear at her location (Central Processor) next time you return to the Interchange. This is where you’ll see him kill her.
Dr. Garrow will only be at Central Processor if you helped her escape the jail cell in Skethermoor Prison.
