Atomfall is a game that ducks the usual approach of giving the player quests to complete, and instead goes with a detective game approach, asking players to follow leads instead.

It’s a novel idea that means that every player’s experiences will be different, and this extends to the various endings that you’re able to achieve as the game draws to a close.

Atomfall is shaping up to be a nuclear-fuelled spectacle, and we stay down with Ben Fisher to find out more about this amazing prospect.

One such ending will rely on the player siding with Dr Joyce Tanner, and to do that, you’ll need to find the various radio towers around the map, and the various Keycards to access them.

Joyce Tanner Atomfall

This can be a tricky task, but with this guide, you’ll be able to find them with ease and push on to deal with Oberon.

How To Power Up The Radio Towers

Firstly, before you go about locating the Radio Towers, you will need to get Joyce Tanner to the interchange, which requires you to do a few things. These are as follows:

You may also find Joyce Tanner in a bunker not too far from the Old Mine, where Mother Jago is located. However, you don’t need to speak to her before powering up Charlie in the Interchange. If you leave the Interchange and come back, she will be there when you return.

When you speak to Joyce in The Interchange, she will ask you to go to various Radio Towers around Wyndham and activate them. She will override the system to give them power once again, but you still need to find them, and you still need the Keycards to unlock the doors to each control panel.

So, to help you locate the towers themselves, here is a quick list of coordinates for each respective tower:

Coordinates

Skethermoor Radio Tower

43.1E, 73.6N

Casterfell Woods Radio Tower

24.8E, 89.3N

Slatten Dale Radio Tower

All Radio Keycard Locations

As mentioned, finding the tower is one thing, but you’ll still need each Keycard if you want to light these up for Joyce, and unlike the towers, you can’t just look for the pointy thing on the horizon and walk over there.

These Keycards are a lot better hidden, but the good news is that we know where to find them all, and they are located as follows:

Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard

This Keycard is found by exploring the body of water just southwest of the Outlaw Camp and Radio Tower. This is an area where you’ll find a dead body with a Metal Detector and water that is full of shock leeches, so be wary of them.

You’ll want to navigate this area until you see a fallen metal structure that acts as a ramp leading into a cave on the side of the cliff nearby.

Enter this area and explore, and eventually, you will come across a dead scientist. Search their body, and you’ll discover they were holding the Keycard you need.

Second, you’ll need to head to Bunker L9, which is located at the coordinates (23.3E, 90.6N). This area is found just west of the Boatyard on the map.

Inside, you will find a desk with a Training Stimulant resting on it, alongside the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard.

Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard

To find this Keycard, you will need to head to the coordinates (43.4E, 74.6N)

These are the coordinates for the Vehicle Storage Bunker. This is an area that is crawling with Outlaws, so be prepared to sneak around with grace, or fight with vigor upon entering.

Then, when all is dealt with, explore the area and you’ll eventually find a room with the Keycard resting on a desk.
