This guide will deal with how to beat Mecha Leon, a boss appearing in the Camo Cosmos galaxy inAstro Bot. Despite being a mechanical chameleon, it is no short of a gross being when he spills the saliva from the mouth.

Astro Bot is seen jumping on one of the flying leaves.

His attacks include Homing Missiles, Tongue Splat, Branch Shake, and more. Astro Bot have the ability to stop time while in battle, which can be used to avoid the boss’s attacks easily.

How to Reach Mecha Leon in Camo Cosmos?

As Astro Bot enters through the trees, landing in a zone full of large stumps and stones with a breathtaking view, he has to make his way through bots, blobs, and, obviously, chameleons.

They throw fire orbs from their mouths. If you hadn’t already figured it out, Mecha Leon is simply a clever jumble of ‘Chameleon‘. Astro Bot pulls a Doctor Strange after he finds this gadget-cum-companion that allows him to stop time. It would certainly havebeen a big help in our efforts to beat Wako Tako.

There are chasms but the breeze keeps bringing these flying leaves that Astro Bot can halt using the Time Stop for a time being, allowing him to cross them.

Just before he is about to reach the final stump, theAstro Botcharacter will find this fountain pushing leaves above it. Again, he needs to use the Time Stop and climb it before jumping on the final platform.

Mecha Leon is seen losing it after an attack by Astro Bot.

You’ll see the Mecha Leon there. Well, not exactly as it enters donning his invisibility cloak before revealing itself.

How to Beat Mecha Leon in Astro Bot?

He appears close to those trees; maybe that’s why it hangs on a branch, beginning the Branch Shake attack that drops a few enemies. Look out for the shadows to know where they’ll be dropping to avoid contact.

As they drop on the ground, use the Time Stop to halt their and Mecha Leon’s movement, and eliminate them as you go.

Then there’s fire orbs, which Mecha Leon will use in bulk. Users need to look for an opening and use the Time Stop to evade through it. Time will be of the essence here.

Now as the attack ends, the boss will do a Tongue Splat. This is where users will get the chance to inflict some damage to Mecha Leon. They’ll have to climb through the tongue and attack the uvula.

That’ll cause nausea and it’ll spit you out, changing his color and the location. As the boss reaches the other platform, he’ll use Disc Blades from a distance.

Leverage it like you did with those large leaves to cross the chasms. Use the Time Stop, jump on the discs, and reach the other side. This new platform is a bit delicate.

Mecha Leon isn’t happy that you have tackled the attack and will cause it to use Homing Missiles. It’s easy to speculate where they’ll fall. Use the Time Stop and maintain a safe distance before partially blowing up the platform.

A similar pattern of attacks will follow. A Branch Shake, then the Orbs, then a Tongue Splat. Choose the right moment to enter that saliva dripping mouth and attack the uvula.

That’ll cause Mecha Leon to approach the final platform. Wait for it to throw the discs and leverage them to reach the last stage of the battle. You’ll find him broken (literally) and crazier. Both sides of this final platform are delicate so watch your steps.

You’ll have to tread carefully as the pattern of the attacks will remain the same but more intense this time. Now when Mecha Leon does that Tongue Splat, make sure it’s the last because this is where the most fun part arrives.

Following the defeat, Mecha Leon will hang almost unconscious from a branch, and Astro Bot will grab his nose ring like a slingshot and launch it into the space.

Have you fought the Mecha Leon Yet? If yes, how did you beat it? We would like to know about it in the comments section below.
