Today, Ubisoft revealed itscinematic world premiere trailer forAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The trailer features some gruesome visuals of war. We hear the Saxon leader speak in the background, essentially calling the Vikings a bunch of warmongering brutes. However, we see the Vikings go against everything the leader says, showing that they aren’t just a bunch of barbarians. It ends revealing the protagonist wields a hidden blade, confirming he is an assassin.

The official website is now live and gives us a bit more details onAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. It seems the game will only feature a single protagonist name Eivor. Other features include leading raids, advanced RPG mechanics, and a customizable settlement. you may check out all the featureshere.

Yesterday, on June 11, 2025, Ubisoft partnered with artist BossLogic to revealAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s heavily rumored Viking theme. In an eight hour stream (which has been conveniently condensed to four minutes in this video), the artist essentially created the key art before our very eyes. An exact timeline was not revealed, but according to our brief research, we predicted the game would take place when the Vikings invaded England and took control of Bamburgh from the Anglo Saxons. It seems we were somewhat right, according to the official website.

After the stream, a tweet from Ubisoft Montreal stated thata total of 15 studios is working onAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Montreal seems to be the main studio with the other 14 studios aiding them.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set to launch Holiday 2020. It is confirmed that it will be a cross-gen title, however, it only mentioned Xbox One and Xbox Series X in the trailer. On the game’s official website, it does confirm it will also be coming to PS5, PS4, Stadia, and PC. Solely mentioning Xbox in the trailer may indicate Ubisoft is partnering with Microsoft in some fashion for its next entry in the popular action-adventure franchise.
