If you’re playing in Canon Mode, the game will automatically favor the choice of killing the enemies at the end of the Wada Koretake quest. You’ll still get this quest regardless of the choice you make.
Where To Find Yaya
The first part of this short quest involves finding Yaya in the western part of Osaka.
Luckily, she’s pretty easy to find as she and a few other monks will be fighting against a couple ofenemies,and you’ll need to help her defeat them.
Depending on your choice with the Wada Koretake quest, she’ll either be relieved to see us again or actpassive-aggressive towards Naoefor showing her face again.
Either way, it turns out a couple of rogue monks tried to raid a shrine,and one of them stole the most valuable item of all—the kanzashi (hairpin) of Yaya’s deceased husband.
As it happens, it was Tetsuo, a former acquaintance of Yaya, who has stolen the kanzashi. Now, it’s our job to find him and the hairpin to make things fair with Yaya.
Where To Find Tetsuo
The only lead you’re given about Tetsuo is the Church of Takatsuki.But just for you,I’ve showcased the exact location above.
The town of Takatsuki is located just north of Katano, and the church is easily seenwhen you enter the town from the south entrance.
Talk to Tetsuo, who’s inside the church, scoping some drawers out. And of course, he makes a run for it like any panicked NPC.
It’s a scripted chase sequence so you can’t really tackle or assassinate him.Wait for him to run outside the town gate until…Yaya brutally slams him down to the ground.
After a heated reunion and some convincing from Naoe, Yaya and Tetsuo forgive each other. Lastly, Yaya also accepts our offer to fight for the greater good and becomes our ally.
IfYaya’s your first combat ally,you’ll also receive the Build Your League trophy/achievement. You can manage allies at various Kakurega locations across the world or at the Hideout.
