WHERE TO PLAY

Mas’ood is the first true assassination mission that Basim has to undergo, and there’s a reason for that. Going by the moniker Al Ghul, he is the quintessential Order of Ancients member. He’s a brutal slaver with no remorse for his actions who believes that his reprehensible means justify the Order’s ends.

He’s bought into the dogma completely and never repents, even as Basim draws him out and assassinates him from above. It’s hard to find an Order member who is more satisfying to kill.

It’s rare for such a minor character to have sucha profound moment in a game. Makira really only shows up in one mission. It seems at first as if Basim just needs to please her in order to get what he wants. And he goes along with it simply because she seems so innocent.

In truth, Makira was manipulating him for her own ends. She wanted to take out two women who were questioning the head of the Order of Ancients, turning Basim into her own tool in the process.

The thing about Assassin’s Creed Mirage is that it is reallya prequel to Valhalla. Because of this, several members of the game are actually mentioned in the first one. Rayhan is one of them. He serves as the Mentor for the Hidden Ones based out of Alamut.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Ending, Explained

It’s very much a family affair. Here’s the ending to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey explained.

Essentially, he’s in charge of the overall mission in Baghdad. Mentors aren’t really field operatives, so he primarily sticks to the background and only shows up during truly important scenes and moments that affect the Hidden Ones as a whole.

Fuladh is another character that was first mentioned in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla before actually making an appearance in Mirage. He served as one of Basim’s instructors at Alamut before becoming a bureau leader in the field at Baghdad.

He is mainly operating in the background, helping Basim along the way. But it’s important to note that in Valhalla it’s mentioned that he has been promoted to the rank of Mentor, so his role within the Hidden Ones does grow over time even if he’s not always present.

Beshi is a former slave turned freedom fighter who serves as second in command under Ali. He’s not a major figure in the game, but he does become a martyr for the cause. After working hard to take out lower-ranking members of the Order, Basim has to go after the warlord.

Unfortunately, Beshi was already captured and taken prisoner at that point. Basim arrives just in time to see the warlord kill Beshi, which motivates the player to assassinate him with cause and without remorse.

Of course, every Assassin’s Creed game has to have its head Templar or leader of the Order of Ancients who drives the corruption and despair in any given region. Every main villain is different just as every protagonist is, and Qabiha stands as a complicated force.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: All Side Questlines, Ranked

AC Mirage only has a few side quests throughout the game. Here is a ranking of those side quests.

Like every Order member, she is definitely corrupt and harmful to society, but she also has many of the answers that Basim is looking for. That doesn’t make her good, but it means she does complicate his relationship with the Hidden Ones whenshe’s killed by Roshan.

4Ali Ibn Muhammad

Assassin’s Creed is no stranger to including historical figures in its games. In fact, having historical figures interact with Assassins and Hidden Ones either as enemies or allies is a trademark of the series. Ali is one such figure who plays a pivotal role in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

He views himself as a freedom fighter who’s looking to liberate Baghdad. However, he has a much different philosophy on how that should be accomplished compared to Basim. Although they are allies with common goals, their methods vary wildly.

Nehal is a very interesting character in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. She represents the other path of Basim’s life outside the Hidden Ones. Even after Basim joins the group, she still stays close to him, guiding him and giving him support.

Soit’s especially troubling in the endwhen it’s revealed she was a figment of his imagination all the long. She represented the lost memories from Basim’s past life as Loki, making her a unique addition to the Assassin’s Creed mythos.

Basim had a very complicated with Roshanthroughout the course of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Initially, she was someone he looked up to as a role model. When he joined the Hidden Ones, she became his teacher and eventually his superior in the field.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: All Outfits, Ranked

Unveil Basim’s stylish arsenal with 7 outfits in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and find the best among all the rest.

But she’s a zealot who attempted to kill him to keep the Hidden One’s secrets. In the end, she left the group rather than see Basim become corrupted by the knowledge he gained inside the vault. It’s a decision bound to have consequences down the road.

Of course, it’s hard not to put the main character at the top of the list when it’s his game, after all. But besides that, Basim is just an interesting character. Over the course of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, various characters have fallen in line with the Brotherhood for various reasons.

He’s someone who wants to join the Hidden Ones and strives to do just that. But he falls in with them based on circumstance and has to make the best out of the situation, regardless of his initial intentions.
