Ark: Survival Ascended is gearing up for its very first in-game event, as Studio Wildcard confirms the ‘Turkey Trial’ will kick off on Friday, December 1st.

As Thanksgiving has now been and gone, Studio Wildcard says it won’t be “celebrating in true Turkey Trial fashion” but the event will still be going ahead next week, according to the studio’s mostrecent Community Crunch post. As always, fans can expect a plethora of new and returning event skins, emotes, and colors.

After finally launching on Xbox earlier this week, Ark fans are unhappy with the lack of launch discount.

Last year’s Turkey Trial event, which took place inArk: Survival Evolved, lasted for 2 weeks. It’s currently unconfirmed how long this year’s event will last for, but it is speculated to be the same length. It’s been a rough road for the release of Ark: Survival Ascended, the Unreal Engine 5 remaster of Ark: Survival Evolved. After numerous delays and setbacks, Survival Ascended was finally released for Steam late last month, but console players were left in the dark. Then, after a month long wait, Xbox users finallygot their hands on the remaster earlier this week.
