Calling the original Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure “melodramatic” would be a gross understatement, as the show features plenty of elegant visual design, artistic scenery, orchestral music, and a grandiose use of vocabulary. Though this fight may not be as action-fueled as many anime fights, he still stood his ground, clutching the still-speaking severed head of Dio to the very end.

All Might being locked in battle against what could be described as his arch nemesis was just as intense as it was climactic. Viewers witnessed as All Might would perform such attacks as putting all the strength of one arm into another — destroying it in the process.
They would also witness the single most powerful attack that All Might would make in the entire franchise — United States of Smash — but using this attack would come at a steep cost. This was no longer a fight with a sliver of a chance of survival, but rather giving it one last push knowing there is only death ahead — this last stand would unfortunately fail. Luckily, Naruto Uzumaki would intervene before the final attack on Guy, and uses a technique of his own that saves Guy’s life from the effects of releasing the 8th gate.
