Jac Schaeffer’sAgatha All Alongis currently the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s storyline featuring none other than Kathryn Hahn as the lead role. Since the previous phase concluded, Marvel has been struggling to retain its fanbase with lackluster movies and television shows. In hopes of bringing themselves back into relevance, the MCU has tapped into other storylines as well.
The latest one is the continuation of Agatha Harkness’ storyline that was introduced during theWandaVisionseries. The entire plot of Agatha isn’t known yet, but it might have some connections to the Scarlett Witch storyline as the writers introduced a character that goes by “Teen,” played by Joe Locke.
Could Joe Locke’s Teen character from Agatha All Along be Billy Maximoff, Wanda’s son?
Having released only two episodes, there isn’t much left to work with besides that, Agatha is three years removed from her escape from the Hex, a reality-altering bubble created by Wanda Maximoff to cope with Vision’s death.
InAgatha All Along,Kathryn Hahn’s character gets approached by Joe Locke’s teen character. While she tries to gather up knowledge about his identity, Teen’s voice fades out or his mouth gets sewed up. Evidently, it is a spell that’s been cast on him, but he isn’t aware of it either.
This could mean someone is protecting Locke’s identity in the series from Agatha, who is known and considered to be a dangerous witch. However, Teen joins the coven led by Agatha to take on the Witches’ Road.
There are a few indications that have led people to believe that Teen is Billy. Teen is a magic-wielding character who is also gay, which perfectly aligns with how Billy is portrayed in the comics.

However, it is unclear howJoe Locke’s character ended up inAgatha All Alongor why he’s there. InWandaVision, Scarlett Witch had to say her goodbyes to her children, Billy and Tommy while the Hex collapsed. This set the precedent for the events that took place duringDoctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness.
Teen from Agatha All Along could be Billy Maximoff from an alternate timeline
In theMultiverse of Madness, Wanda (played byElizabeth Olsen) sets off on a journey to find her children in other universes. By the end of the movie, Wanda sacrifices herself to destroy the Darkhold which she uses to gain power to visit other timelines.
It is possible that Billy is from another timeline, which also leads us to a potential plot forAgatha All Along. Teen (or Billy) could get through the Witches’ Road with the help of Agatha and the coven, somehow bringing Wanda back to life at the end of the series.
Marvel has a unique way of introducing its characters often resorting to suspense-filled scenes or endings. It is likely that Joe Locke’s character is Wanda’s lost son.
But there are still way too many questions that need to be answered soon, hopefully within the next few episodes of the brand-new spinoff series.

As for Agatha Harkness herself, this season could set the precedent for upcoming spinoffs or storylines of the main Marvel universe. Considering how Wanda has played an important role in previous Marvel movies, the MCU might not easily let go of her.
