Of all the superheroes in the X-Men guild, Gambit is inevitably one of the most popular and beloved ones. Yet, he is also the one who hasn’t been able to earn himself more than one appearance in a live-action project of the mutants. Even when Channing Tatum was reportedly cast to star as Gambit in his very own solo movie, the film was later revealed to be canceled and swept under the rug.

For what it’s worth, if all of this speculation turns out to be true and Tatumdoesend up appearing alongside Jackman in live-action as well, then perhaps nothing could stop the third installment ofDeadpoolfrom becoming an unimaginable success for Marvel.
