The Walking Deadfranchise may have originated back in late 2010, but even after more than one decade, it seems to hold no intention to stop anytime soon. After 6 whopping drama series based on the storyline of a zombie apocalypse — two of which notably have around 8 to 11 seasons — it has launched a whole new sequel to the direct original series which is titled‘The Ones Who Live’.
To promote this brand-new series, the franchise decided to use the most iconic seven-word line of the former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. However, instead of being honored by it, the first Scottish-born WWE Champion clapped the franchise back in return, claiming he wished the very first series ended after season 3; and fans couldn’t have agreed more with him.

Recently, through its original X handle@TheWalkingDead, the franchise teased its upcoming direct sequel to the original series,The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, through a clip of the renowned character from the saga Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln), along with the caption:
“I prayed for this and it happened.”

These seven words are notably the very iconic words that made McIntyre a living internet sensation. However, the former WWE Champion, who is notably the first Scottish-born WWE Champion, didn’t quite appreciate this mention inThe Walking Dead: The Ones Who Liveteaser.
Taking to his own X handle@DMcIntyreWWE, the professional wrestler currently signed to WWE reposted this teaser clip along with the caption:
“I prayed for The Walking Dead to end after season 3.”
