Valaorant has the most diverse pool of Agents in any FPS

Clove is the latest controller, added to the agent pool ofValorant. They are a first-of-their-kind aggressive controller from Scotland who made a special place in people’s hearts from the get-go. Their ability to smoke post-death makes them stand out among all the controllers in the game. With the addition of post-death smokesValoranthas confirmed its intention of using the ability to smoke in ways never seen before and they are open to exploring smokes that can damage and heal, in the future.

Valorant’s leap into diversity

Valoranthas always tried to diversify the abilities of each agent, catering to the players’ individual play styles. InValorant, using one’s ability in unique ways has made players indulge in the game with the utmost creativity and outside-the-box thinking.

Valoranthas been able to do this by being open to exploring new ways to modify already existing abilities while trying not to overpower any agent more than the other.

Not on Clove, but never say never in general! On VALORANT, we are always open to exploring new mechanics on our new agents.”

Clove’s aggressive approach to controlling

Clove is an aggressive controller with the following set of abilities:Decay, Overheal, Smokes, and their ult that resurrects them from the dead allowing them to stand on the frontlines and take frags. Their ability to smoke after dying also plays an important role in determining Clove’s approach toward the game.

Shedding further light on this Harmonsaid–

Clove is one of their kind aggressive controller.

“Clove is mostly focused around risk-taking: the entire kit is built around being willing to sacrifice yourself to take opponents down or win rounds.” He further added, “Clove is for you if you feel like you’re a brave player who wishes to make a difference early on into rounds, and not for you if you feel like you just want to have strong utility output and play to stay alive the whole round.“

Playing Clove is all about risk-taking, as a Clove player you are bound to play aggressively early on in the game and take out as many frags as possible before dying, as for them, staying alive throughout the round is not necessary given their ability to provide utility even after dying.
