Since 2020, the company has been taking its components down, and April 2024 will be the last for the act as it will be discontinued completely.
The users don’t want any discontent from their creations, so they took up the challenge to clear every level there is in the game creation system. They even have a website to keep track of things, and it appears that alongsideSuper Mario Maker,it too has served its purpose as it is this close to the ‘100%‘ status.

A website called ‘Is Super Mario Maker Beaten Yet?‘, which is obviously a question in itself, says “NOT YET” at the time of writing. As far as the stats are concerned,players have managed to beat99.5% of the game. Most of the uncleared levels are fromNew Super Mario Bros. U,while in the context of nations, a better part of them belong to Japan. Specifically, 223 levels remain to be conquered at press time.
Users on Reddit have been engaged in the debate as the system’s time nears, with one called desantoossharing a few big levelsthat may even put the finest players on their heels. Some believe players have downloaded the levels before it shuts down.

By December 2022, it had shipped over eight million copies to enter the list of the company’s bestsellers. Since its launch, social media platform X (formerly Twitter) posts associated with the original game have plummeted.
