It’s more satisfying, varied, bigger, and faster than its predecessors, yetit has less soul and identity, given its inability to truly innovate. It’s excellent from a technical and graphical perspective but fails to elevate the experience beyond the initial hours, and its story is lazily done to say the least.
The change of generation shifted how we understand open worlds,leaving Infamous: Second Son behind despite being a recommendable experience.

As a stealth fan for as long as I can remember,Sly Cooperis a franchise I’d really like to see brought back, as I feel it could help revitalize the genre.
While its latest installment isn’t my favorite,Sly 3: Honor Among Thievesis a competent representative of one of the best PlayStation 2 series, maintaining everything that made its predecessors stand out.
It doesn’t innovate, and perhaps it’s a bit too easy, but mechanically, it’s the most refined of the three, offering an experience that feels quintessentially Sly Cooper.
Unfortunately, it lacks the magic necessary to be considered a classic, butit’s an excellent title, reminding us of the value of the simplicity of old video games.
